Ouch. Most ladies know all too well that “monthly visitor” can bring on problems like stomach cramps, back ache and off-kilter nervous system resulting in problems sleeping.
I wanted to share this simple sequence that brought me relief today:
1) Supported Badakonasana (bound angle pose)
2) Supported Janu Sirasana head-to-knee pose
3) Upavistha Konasana (straddle pose) supported by wall and bolster
Here’s a great video you can watch that demonstrates how to do each pose. If you don’t have a yoga bolster, a firm couch cushion can do the trick.
