Chakra 5 Yoga Offering Classes Online
First of all, we wish you all safety and good health. It’s been a challenging time, to say the least, as we navigate the daily news reports on the Coronavirus and the various steps being taken to contain it. It’s a fact that many of us (who are fortunate enough to have this option) have already been directed to work “virtually” from home. The city of Los Angeles strongly advises against visiting any public places that aren’t absolutely necessary.
We’re all adjusting to this indefinite new way of living, and find ourselves reliant on digital tools and daily rituals to help us feel oriented in a very strange time. There’s never been a more important time to maintain a regular yoga routine, which boosts the immune system and helps manage anxiety.
The Chakra 5 team has discussed and tested a new wellness offering. As we can’t be with you physically right now, we’re offering online classes via videoconference.
Here’s how it works:
- Online classes are customized: Classes are scheduled at a day and time of convenience for you, your family, your group of friends or company. You’ll work with your assigned instructor (if you’re an existing client we’ve already work with), or, if you’re a new client, the instructor of your choice (depending on availability). We can take any approach to the class that you specify…some clients are requesting extra time spent on meditation.
- Online classes are private and available only to you, your family, your group of friends or your employees. Only those who have the meeting invite can intend, and a password can be added for extra security.
- Online classes feature live instruction: Since the videoconference allows for two-way communication, you’ll be able to let your instructor know if you have any questions or concerns during the class. If you choose to turn on video on your end, the instructor will be able to watch your individual practice and offer suggestions.
- Online classes help you feel connected. The isolation at home is challenging for many who live alone. An online group class can help you feel connected to your fellow employees and other people. At the other extreme, some people have a house full of kids they need to keep busy. A live, online class could be an interesting and different thing for them to try
